MH370
MH370 is the flight number for a Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 that went missing on 8 March 2014. The aircraft had 12 crew and was carrying 227 passengers from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
However, the aircraft diverted westward across Malaysia, flew towards the Andaman Sea and then turned south. The flight ended in the southern Indian Ocean over a thousand kilometers south west of Perth, WA. There were no survivors.

I have been fascinated by the story of flight MH370 ever since I heard the news item that "Malaysia Airlines has lost contact" with the aircraft.
I have a background in engineering, communications, information technology, training, and management. When journalists and commentators were struggling with terms like ACARS, transponders and Satcom, I understood the systems involved. I decided to create a website that could 'decode' MH370. I chose MediaWiki as the platform and started development of the website mh370wiki.net in 2015.
